We encourage the University of Oklahoma community to provide feedback on the Provost Advisory Committee for Learning Technologies recommendation.  The Center for Teaching Excellence and Information Technology will be hosting several Town Halls for open discussions with Colleges, Faculty and Students.  Please watch the Latest News for posts about Town Halls and Demos.


Key Elements of the Recommendation:

  • There will be a change in the current LMS instance.  The University will be moving either to D2L cloud-hosted or to another LMS.
  • PACLT recommends migration to Canvas over 2016-17 with an opt-in for Faculty to migrate to Canvas.
  • The tentative Migration Plan provides assistance during the migration with one-on-one assistance, on demand online content, and workshops.
  • Remain on the next LMS for 5 years.
